When Mum and Dad said that I wouldn’t get to watch TV on school days, I was so cross that I shouted and screamed. They yelled, ‘Get to your room, Charlie!’ I went thumping to my room with a heavy heart pulling me along. I fell flat on my bed and picked up ‘The Thirteen Storey Treehouse’ book, written by Andy Griffiths and illustrated by Terry Denton and I felt much better than when I got shouted at. My mum and dad felt happy that I was reading because that would make me smarter and calm me down. I chilled out.
