What started as a small fire that a few mates started, grew, and the wind took the flames to the long dry grass. It caught on fire so fast that by the time they got water, it had already set a long strip of land aflame. One of the boys got to his phone and called triple 0 and before they knew it the fire brigade was there, slowly taking control of the fire. It wasn’t an easy task. It took several hours to put it out. Afterwards,the boys were given a talk about fire safety.
