“Whoosh!” A red streak flies by “Peter! Stop stealing my apples and make yourself useful,” Sally roared. “Sorry!” Peter shouted, “I was hungry!” as he flew off on his flying carpet through the open window and into his room. But Sally noticed something else on the carpet…a big piece of bacon!
She ran to find the local butcher and came back to the house with him. The butcher was furious. Peter knew Sally very well, for she was his sister, so he had eaten the bacon and brushed his teeth before the butcher got there. The butcher thought it was a lie and he left with a scowl on his face. “Another swing and another miss,” Peter teased Sally once the butcher had left.
