As we finished with the greasy car engine, we were told that the giraffe exhibit needed a food top-up. We drove down in the ranger’s car. When we got to the brown enclosure, we were told that this was to be the hottest day of the year.
After we finished with the giraffe exhibit we were so hot that we felt like we had melted. We grabbed a cold drink and then heard another call, this time to check that the salt water levels were good for the penguins. We jumped at the chance to get out of the sun.
