Jack was swimming in a lake in a dormant volcano called Tower Hill. He wore purple budgie smugglers. As he sat on the boardwalk eating a banana, a hairy man walked by. The man grunted and pulled out a tiger snake from his bag and waved it in front of Jack’s face. Jack screamed in fear and ran as fast as he could to get away.
When he stopped running, he realised he was lost. He looked around and saw emus protecting their cute, fluffy chicks. They were eyeing him and making a low drumming sound. He felt peaceful again.

Hello Michelle, this is a great story, particularly clever in how you have used the challenge words. It would be so easy to lose your way when you run away in fright. I think you have chosen your words well and created a very clear picture. I like how you had the peaceful ending.
