Never Over-Exaggerate, by Hayley, Year 4

Prompt: …it was heavier than I expected….

I was going to get stuff that was empty from the pantry; wrappers, food, scraps, containers and boxes. I was putting them all into sections when my sister called me and asked me to help her turn on the TV.

I went back to the pantry and then my mum called me and I went to find out what she wanted. I couldn’t find her so I yelled out and asked her where she was. She said she was outside and she needed to lift a heavy box. I thought she was over-exaggerating but it was heavier than I expected.
