“I have exciting news, we’re getting a new car. I’m looking at a Lamborghini”, I told my kids. “Yay!”, they shouted. “Wait, no, I’m getting a Toyota, Camry”. “Boooo!!” my kids sulked. One of them said, “At least Dad’s getting a new car. It has to be better than the old one. Remember how it was completely out of tune and it just stopped in the middle of the road and someone hit us and severely damaged the car?” We all felt sad because we’d owned that car for 11 years and we had such great adventures in it.
