“On the road again. I can’t wait to get on the road again!” Bob hummed, as we were driving along Springfield Road at 70km/hour. Then we saw a sign saying, “Roadworks ahead, 40km/hour”. Bob started to slow down, but I said to ignore it.
We took no notice of the sign and suddenly we heard sirens and saw flashing lights in the mirror. It was the police wanting us to pull over. Bob put his indicator on to signal that he was going to stop, but as the police officer came closer, we suddenly took off as fast as we could.
