We woke at 3am on Christmas morning. I was in my sister’s room. We were so excited, we screamed. Everyone in the street could hear us. We got in big trouble so we waited and then sneakily crept to the presents and opened them. They were shiny. Our eyes nearly popped out of our heads. There was an XBox and the new iPhone X. We flashed the torch on them and they shone in our eyes. We tried to plug the XBox in, but we made the TV explode! We ran straight back to bed and hid under the doona.

What can I say Milan?
What a great story and so visually written that I felt that I was there watching the two of you unwrapping the dream presents. Perhaps if I had been there we could have saved the TV. Well done 😃

Oh Milan, what an exciting little Christmas episode. I loved your use of words like shiny and your eyes popping out of your head. You built up the tension in this little adventure and I was wishing that I could find out what happened on Christmas morning. As a teacher, I would like to commend you on your good sentences and a very well put together piece of writing. I so enjoyed you story. Well done. 😊

Hello, I am from Wildground in the UK. I really liked your blog. We have X-box in this country but we don’t have ‘dooonas’ . Please could you reply and let us know what a doona is? happy Christmas .

Hi Lewis a doona is like a blanket or quilt. We don’t have to use it much at Christmas time because it’s so hot here. I’ve never heard of Wildground. Have a good Christmas too!
