The Eltham Wildcats were fighting against Doncaster on the court. They had been playing for fifteen minutes and the score was 0:0 even though both teams had been up and down the court. Suddenly, Miller shot the basketball from downtown and splashed it, earning 3 points for the Wildcats, right on the buzzer. At halftime, the boys were sweating so badly, they nearly fainted from the heat. They went back playing, but they were exhausted, so the coach called ‘Time Out’ and wasted all of his time outs in five minutes. Doncaster got a lay-up, so the final score was 2:3. Go Wildcats!

Great creative writing Milan and I could feel the heat in the basketball stadium from your descriptiveness.

What a great piece of sports reporting Milan. Well done!
I really enjoyed reading about the exciting and exhausting game and the nail-biting finish.
A team to be proud and a win to remember,
