It was my first day of work at the dog shelter. It was pouring rain and I wished my first day was tomorrow as it will be sunny. It reminded me of a time when my mum, dad, Stitch and I went to the dog shelter to get a new dog. When we got there, it was raining, like today. We asked if we could have a look at some small dogs that might become friends with Stitch. They showed us three dogs and we chose Poppy because she was very cute and playful. It was a great choice for us.
