I was riding my bike when I found a yellow bike attached to a lamp post, so I decided to take it home and fix it. I bought a chain, changed a tyre and added a black stripe so it looked like a Richmond jersey, which is my favourite team from the Australian Football League (AFL). I was so happy and couldn’t wait to ride it down the Hill of Doom.
I parked at the top of the hill and zoomed down, gaining speed until I reached the bottom and slammed on the brakes. I flew over the trees, landing with a thud.

Kia ora Toby. Well done, I really enjoyed your 100 Word Challenge. You’ve used some strong words such as ‘zoomed’ and ‘slammed’ which add detail that make your work really interesting to read. I really like your last sentence too! Keep rising to the 100WC Toby!
